SMS/Messaging Terms

1. Consent

By providing your phone number and sending your first text message to Do Later List ("DLL"), you consent to receive SMS messages from DLL related to the service. This includes:

  • Task confirmations
  • Reminders and alerts
  • Daily and weekly summaries
  • Monitoring rule notifications
  • Account-related messages (onboarding, billing, account changes)

Message frequency varies based on your usage and settings. On average, expect 2-10 messages per day for active users.

2. Opt-Out

You can opt out of DLL messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any DLL message to immediately unsubscribe from all SMS communications
  • You will receive a one-time confirmation: "Unsubscribed from DLL messages. Your tasks and data are preserved."
  • After opting out, DLL will not send you any SMS messages until you re-subscribe

Opting out of SMS does not delete your account. Your tasks, reminders, and data remain accessible through the web portal.

3. Opt Back In

To re-subscribe after opting out:

  • Reply START to the DLL number to re-subscribe to SMS messages
  • You will receive a confirmation: "Welcome back! You've been re-subscribed."

4. Help

Reply HELP to any DLL message for information about the service and opt-out instructions.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. DLL does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging rates. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

6. Supported Carriers

DLL works with all major US carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed outside the United States.

7. Message Content

  • DLL messages are concise task confirmations, reminders, and summaries
  • DLL will never send financial account numbers, full balances, or sensitive personal details via SMS
  • For detailed information, DLL provides links to the secure web portal
  • DLL will never ask for passwords, credit card numbers, or social security numbers via SMS

8. Voice Messages

Paid-tier users can call the DLL number to leave voice messages. Voice messages are transcribed using automated speech recognition and processed as tasks, the same as SMS. Voice recordings are not stored after transcription.

9. Privacy

Your phone number and message content are subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
